We hired Steven and his crew at Sky's the Limit Tree Management to work on the trees across our 1-acre property, and we couldn't be happier. Safe, professional, reliable, and the final cost matched the original quote exactly — no surprises. Highly recommend. What impressed us most was that Steven is a true arborist, not just a guy with a chainsaw. With several varieties of tree on our property, he explained the proper way to care for each one, since some required a very different approach than others. For example, our three ash trees: they were struggling with a beetle infestation. One was too far gone to save, but Steven treated the other two, cut out the dead limbs, and shaped them up nicely — giving them a real shot at recovery. Our oak trees needed help after being butchered by the utility company. These trees sit near overhead power lines, and shortly before Steven arrived, the utility crew had come through and cut limbs only halfway — in a way that would have killed them and left the trees dangerously off-balance. Steven cleaned up the whole mess. He cut everything properly, shaped the trees so they look great again, and rebalanced them to lessen the chance of them blowing over. Steven recommended we contract by the day, explaining it would be the most cost-effective way to get everything taken care of, and he was right. He and his crew showed up when they said they would and got done what they planned to each day. They also cleaned up after themselves every day, never cutting more than they could clear before they left. We'll absolutely be calling Steven again when our trees are ready for another trim. They also do landscaping, and after the job they did for us, that's a conversation we're looking forward to having. See more See less
